About Us

A potted history of Sensational Systems Limited#

Sensational Systems Limited is a small company based near Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded in 2014 by nerds, we started out making custom IoT devices for customers, and quickly got in to LPWAN and particularly LoRaWAN.

We started running community gateways on The Things Network, and then began to distribute gateways and devices to others who wanted to join the revolution. This kicked off an international distribution, integration and consultancy business.

Back to the present#

Now a growing team, with an office and bulging warehouse we’re importing more and more LoRaWAN devices and growing our online store. We provide various provisioning, configuration and integration services to our customers, and we help our customers connect LoRaWAN sensors to their existing software platforms, pre-configure devices and make it easy to roll out hundreds of gateways and devices. Sensational Systems Europe B.V.#

Not really experiencing the benefits of Brexit(!) and wanting to be back closer to our European customers, we’re delighted to have our new company Sensational Systems Europe B.V. up and running in the Netherlands. We’re now able to service our EU customers from our Dutch office and warehouse, we can offer all the same hardware supply and consultancy services from within the EU.
